Chemise Jolaine

Il y a quelques semaines j'ai réalisé mes toutes premières chemises dont la chemise Johanna by République du chiffon en terracotta - Atelier Brunette déjà au look "western". Ainsi j'ai d'abord hésité à acquérir la chemise Jolaine de prime abord j'ai trouvé qu'elle avait un style "trop" semblable à Johanna. Et en regardant plus de près, j'ai aimé l'originalité des empiècements et surtout le passepoil comme atout pour valoriser chacune des pièces constituant la chemise ;)))

Pour cette première, j'ai longuement hésité quant au choix du tissu car je trouvais le mix matières proposé très intéressant et original. Aussi j'ai eu la chance de découvrir un designer en tissu (dont je garderai le nom secret car il vend pour de grandes marques) et j'ai flashé sur cette viscose consistante et imprimé "fish" bordeaux (et oui c'est ma couleur du moment;)). Pour relever ce motif, j'ai (encore) opté pour l'incontournable passepoil OR mat (je ne m'en lasse pas) !!!

En préambule, prenez bien le temps de thermocoller les pièces cols, poignets et boutonnière. J'ai opté pour une viseline fine sachant que ma viscose disposait suffisamment de consistance.
Pour cette première, j'ai privilégié davantage la sobriété ainsi je n'ai pas gardé les fausses poches et limiter l'utilisation du passepoil OR mat au col arrondi et empiècements devant et dos afin d'éviter l'effet "bling bling". Si vous souhaitez poser le passepoil en sus sur la boutonnière et les poignets, il faudra prévoir au total 2,80m.

Pour le montage, je me suis appuyée sur mon expérience de la Johanna by RDC et Wenona by Named, n'hésitez pas à revoir les détails de conception.
Pour la chemise Jolaine by RDC, vous devrez faire particulièrement preuve de minutie lors de l'insertion du passepoil au sein du col et des empiècements car ils ne sont pas linéaires mais disposent de vagues ce qui confèrent beaucoup d'originalité ;))) 

Mais je dois dire que la concentration est au maximum car les légers arrondis associés au fait de coudre bord à bord le passepoil ne sont pas une mince affaire. Même avec l'appui du pied fermeture éclair j'ai préféré finir les arrondis à la main.

Après insertion du passepoil sur les empiècements devant, il est important de s'assurer qu'il est bien aligné des 2 côtés afin que la vague ne fasse plus qu'une à l'identique du dos.
Pour le choix des boutons, j'ai opté pour du sur "ton sur ton" pour valoriser les empiècements à travers le passepoil OR mat.

En conclusion, si vous avez envie d'une chemise originale, la chemise Jolaine by RDC et son style "western" sera idéale à porter avec un jean ou pantalon "smoking". Elle dispose d'un niveau 4/4 car elle vous demandera de la précision.

Just a few weeks I realized some shirts such as the Johanna shirt Republique du Chiffon in terracotta fabric - Atelier Brunette already look "western". So I first hesitated to acquire the Jolaine shirt by République Du Chiffon I found she has a same style like Johanna. And looking more closely, I liked the originality of the piping inserts and especially as an asset to value each of the parts making up the shirt;)))

For this first, I hesitated on the choice of fabric because I found the mix materials offered very interesting and original. Also I was lucky to discover a fabric designer (whose name I will keep secret because he sells for big brands) and I flashed on this consistent and printed "fish" burgundy viscose (yes that's my color of the moment;)). To meet this reason, I have (yet) opted for the inevitable mat gold piping (forever) !!!

Level: Experienced - Timing : 4 hours - Cost : €€€

As a preamble, take good time fusing parts collars, cuffs and button. I opted for a fine viseline knowing that my viscose had enough consistency.
For this first, I focused more sober so I do not keep the false pockets and limit the use of mat GOLD piping rounded collar and inserts on front and back to avoid the "bling bling" effect. If you want to ask the extra piping on the lapel and cuffs, it will provide a total of 110 inches.

For assembly, I relied on my experience of Johanna shirt by RDC et Wenona shirt by Named,, please review the design details.
For the Jolaine shirt by République Du Chiffon, you will have particularly close attention to detail when inserting the piping in collar and inserts because they are not linear but have waves which give much originality;)))

But I must say that the concentration is maximum because the rounded light associated with actually sew edge to edge the piping is not an easy task. Even with the support of the zipper foot I preferred to finish the round by hands.
After inserting the piping on the front panels, it is important to ensure that it is aligned on the 2 sides so that the wave does more than identically back.
For the choice of buttons, I opted for the on "tone on tone" to value the inserts through the mat gold piping.

In conclusion, if you want an original shirt, the Jolaine shirt by République Du Chiffon and style "western" will be perfect to wear with jeans or pants "smoking". It has a standard 4/4 because it will ask you for the clarification.
